History

J.V. HOLT & CO have been operating for more than 50 years. We have designed, manufactured, supplied and installed electrical equipment throughout Australia, Europe and the Asia Pacific region for companies and groups such as Tooheys Breweries, Meadow Lea Foods, Public Works Department, BOC, Kraft, Cadbury Schweppes, Dairy Farmers and James Hardie Industries, to name a few.

We have designed, installed and commissioned projects, including 11KV/415/240V distribution, instrument design and application and factory automation, throughout Australia.

J.V. HOLT & CO commenced operation from a premises in Sussex Street Sydney, moved to larger premises in Waterloo and in 1981 relocated our operations to Granville, in the centre of Sydney. We were one of the first companies in NSW approved by the SCC (now Energy Australia), to manufacture and install 11KV substations for consumers. J.V. Holt currently work for companies commited to quality and have enjoyed some of these associations for many years.

Capabilities

J.V. HOLT & CO manufacture Modular Switch Boards, Motor Control Centres (MCCs), Marshalling Racks, PLC panels, Main Distribution Boards, Pneumatic & Solenoid Panels, Operator Interface and Control Panels and a variety of unusual panels to meet our clients exacting requirements.

We design, manufacture and install 11KV networks, low voltage reticulation systems, Electrical equipment for Hazardous atmospheres, data, voice and fibre optic cabling for customers throughout NSW.

We have provided installation and commissioning teams throughout Australia, Malaysia and the Philipines.

From our premises in Granville, we ship switch boards throughout Australia and the Asia pacific region, for industries such as Food & Beverage, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Mining and Manufacturing.

QUALITY POLICY STATEMENT

The Management of J.V. HOLT & CO is committed to the task of implementing and maintaining an effective quality assurance system.

The system is designed to control all activities critical to the successful operation of the company and is based on the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9002:1994.

It is the Company’s policy that quality projects are completed on time, within budget, and comply with contractual requirements. Implementation of the quality system will provide objective evidence that customer and statutory requirements are being met.

This manual and the system referenced therein describes how work is planned and executed to achieve the required assurance of quality and a high degree of consistency in all completed work.

All personnel in the Company are required to implement this policy into their work area through proper adherence to the Quality Manual.
